Who said MPSA is a major college training camp? Its comparable to small A LHSSA classification and is not the game. But they do produce some stars. Ridley is one.

It is not comparable to 1A LHSAA for the 10th time. Kentwood and several others would hang 60 on any team in that league before the third quarter was up. And the champs of that league would be lucky to make the LHSAA 1A playoffs.

I disagree, but that is O.K.

Again the MVP of a AA LHSAA district of five teams went to MPSA A team because of age requirements, the next season (and a year older) and did not make honorable mention.

That settles it then.

if the Coaches know everything, then why did Scott get only 12 carries total in LSU last 6 games??

How many passes did he catch in the last 6 games?

4 total catches in the last 6 games. 1 in each of the last 4.

I hope ridley produces when called as well, but to say he's better than KW is nuts.

To completely disregard it without ever seeing him play is equally as nuts. Ridley may the best back on the team, he may be the 5th best. We're gonna have to actually see a game before we can make that assessment. But where he played high school ball is completely irrelevant now.

Carl, you can't try reason with those incapable of it.

Next to Rollie Fingers, Hot Carl may be the best poster on this website.

I hope Ridley is the next Bo Jackson.

"why didn't he play the last 6 games"

had a concussion..mild one, but when you are loaded at a position..why take a chance...funny thing though..they (coaches) were all about "protecting" their player, except when they needed him to block..

Everyone needs to realize that the coaches play players in certain formations..I remember everyone screaming about Scott not playing 2nd Half against Kentucky..LSU coaches said they "shut down that play" so Scott didn't play again..the coaches have most likely already scripted the first 50 plays against APP St and already know based on formation who and how many carries each back will receive..then look for them to sub players in for experience..

This is silly. It seems that it makes the plays easier for the defense to key on.

silly or not it is what they do..I remember Murphy saying they have screens plays and flairs just for him, see if ANYONE else has ever run the play action, slip screen towards the middle of the formation except Scott, and KW is almost always in for the options...so what if the def knows..still can't stop it

and so far keiland has proved him wrong. your point?

not worth the risks when you have the luxury of a loaded stable of other capable RBs... if KW was the only guy, then yeah...you hope he doesn't fumble in the game and he has been lucky not to in live action to this point

he himself acknowledges his problem

yeah i never noticed Ridley's skin in any of the practice clips or high school film. How many black players were in his MPSAA league in high school?

not many ..only handful who get paid tuitions for their football abilities

still wonder where the hell Ridley fits in our offense... I can't see it
