Not much love for our Tigers

I usually don't care what people think, but some of these are hilarious.

Seeing as you put experts in parenthesis, I'm guessing they didn't have nice things to say about LSU? The end is nigh!

The morons have Vadal all SEC guard when he's not even playing there.

How can a team be most "overrated" if everybody thinks they suck?

Jon Solomon:
quote:

Most overrated team: LSU. Show me that the Tigers have a consistent quarterback and then I'll buy into their preseason top 15 rankings. They could be 1-2 by Week 3 after early games at Mississippi State and home vs. Auburn.

Tom Fornelli:

quote:

Most overrated team: LSU. I don't think the 2014 season was an outlier. The Tigers' struggles are going to continue into 2015 because most of the problems they had one year ago still exist. I don't think LSU is going to just magically heal itself.

Jerry Hinnen:

quote:

Most overrated team: LSU. Les Miles had 10 games against Power Five competition in 2015 and won just one -- vs. Kentucky, at home -- by more than six points. The back seven is beastly, and running back Leonard Fournette's a Heisman Trophy candidate-in-waiting, but until the broken passing game is repaired -- and what evidence do we have it will be? -- this isn't an SEC West contender.

Chip Patterson:

quote:

Most overrated team: LSU. I think the Tigers are a top-30 team thanks to a really strong defense, particularly in the back seven, and one of the most punishing rushing attacks led by Fournette and a stout offensive line. But a top-15 team? No sir. The lack of a persistent pass rush last season concerned me even more than quarterback instability. Until the Tigers reaffirm their place as one of the league’s sack leaders and get their passing attack in gear, I’m going to doubt their place in the polls.

I see why people are low on LSU. No passing game and a weak pass rush doesn't mix for championship seasons.

I just happen to think however that the pass rush will be improved and Harris will be able to be efficient enough for LSU to be very dangerous.

It's not just LSU that hasn't proven they have a QB. shite, Bama may have to start a true freshman, but they're a lock for the playoff.

It's just so stupid.

Well to be fair, this is a true statement.. Without improved QB play...15 is about LSU will be all year....

This is also true until we see what happens in the 1st three games.......

I know this pisses off Tiger fans but its the way it is............

Our team can use it as a challenge to prove that the "experts" have no clue!

Auburn went 8-4 last year, is breaking in a new starting QB, and is almost unanimously picked to win the division.

It's asinine.

Those opinions are not that far-fetched or offensive if you try to look at the situation objectively.

Pretty soon, the games will be played ... and we'll see who was correct and who was full of it.

Not a big deal.

No need to get jimmies rustled.
