I'm thinking Washington won't move the ball so well when Chad Jones drops another huge sideline hit on Locker ala USC.

Eh, I don't see any shootout for the game. It will be fun though.

It will be interesting to see if you guys shored up the holes in the D last year.

All indications from sources over practice the last few weeks have been that LSU's D has made tremendous strides under Chavis.

I have a gut feeling this D will be more than solid and will give your Husky O hell!

So let me get this straight. You guys aren't the same offensive team you were last year, because you have a new coach who's an offensive genius. LSU, on the other hand, is presumed to be the same team as last year on defense, notwithstanding the presence of a new DC, a new defensive backfield coach and a new defensive line coach. OK. But this doesn't do much to overcome the general perception that three generations of substituting drugs for food has significantly impaired the reasoning ability of folks living on the left coast.

LSUTigahs, the 0-12 record doesn't apply this year. That was last year, with our old coach and the absence of our star QB.

This year, Jake is back, we have a new coaching staff, renewed energy, and zero pressure come Saturday. And, contrary to what you may hear, we do have talent.

Was 8-5 representative of LSU last year?

Again, I'm not saying we will come out and dominate. BUT, I think we can stay with you guys into the 4th. Our offense with Jake and CSS will be potent, and it will be up to the LSU defense to stop it. This is a task they may have trouble with.

Locker is great, but you and the rest of the country will be made very aware that the Tiger D is back full force. While this sounds like a Koolaid statement, these kids are eager and damn angry at themselves. shite gonna get real!

I DO think it will be a shootout and go back and forth the majority of the game!

Both of our teams had bad seasons last year. The only difference is for us 8-5 = bad, but y'all went 0-12. How the hell do you think this will be a shootout?

Yes, absolutely. The team had crap for defensive coaching and no reliable QB.

But LSU's defensive struggles from last year do apply?
