I will be back here after the game, although I'm not sure I'll want to.

You should definitly come back, regardless
of the score. to either take your lumps,
or gloat a little.
I think this game will start out a
little slow, but the tiger's will begin to
exert they're will in the 2nd quarter.

But either way. Here's to an injury free,
other than some husky pride, football game!

There will be more talent on that field in one night than the last 10 yrs combined.

Is a Track around your field a new trend?

Can LSU stop the Husky attack?

To answer the original question, its not about totally stopping the opponent's attack; it's about stopping the big play, controlling the clock, and minimizing the opponent's scoring opportunity. Jake can run and scramble all he wants between the 20's; he'll probably have some success doing so. It's about keeping you out of the endzone, and I think this is advantage Tigers.

And no one is "treating" your fans badly here. Grow up. Some of us are more overtly confident/arrogant, but we have pretty good facts to back up the predictions. Its just words. Could say the same thing about you that posing your original question is cocky in itself. You see anyone here crying that you're treating us badly? Don't overreact; makes you look like a little bitch.

Please don't judge us all by the idiotic statments made by UW 'fans' like this. You will almost certainly win, were just hoping to show you a respectable fight, and I think we can/will do that.

The only problem I ever have with you SECers is your tendency to think that you are/always were the only football conference that matters. Not that you aren't miles ahead now, but UW's all time wins/win % are on PAR with LSU, same with Conference and bowl wins. Good football can be found in every conference, right now the SEC just does it better :)

I remember having a similar discussion with appalachian state fans, they agreed after the game that our defense was way more dominant than they thought we would be, including stopping their mobile quarterback.

Yes it will, but it won't matter because you can't stop our attack.

That's only because they thought BCS football was like playing Michigan.

Husky stadium will be packed and a rockin' this Saturday night

Half of the stands in your pic are empty in a 20-21 game in the 3rd quarter against your biggest rival. You haven't sold out the stadium for this game and we're bringing 10-15k fans. Yeah the stadium might be rocking, but it'll be the LSU fans doin the rocking.

Historically, I don't think you can say this about the entire SEC; maybe Bama, but not many other schools. Modern day, I would agree with you that there is a strong, many times overt, feeling that we have the strongest conference in the country, top to bottom. But with good reason. Look at the last 3 NC's; look at 4 of the last 5 NC's. And you certainly see a separation in overall conference strength between the SEC and PAC 10. Might not be as much of a gap as some make out, but still a stronger conference by most measures. That's just the facts.

While the LSU defense may be better, it won't be the wall that it was back in 2003 when you guys beat Oklahoma!

How the hell do you or anyone else make that statement. Noone in 2003 new going in the defense would be as good as it turned out to be. The biggest reason our defense sucked last year was because of a dumbass decision to use to DC's. Had nothing to do with the talent. Now we have a proven nationally recognized DC who has more talent to work with than he did at Tennessee at anytime in the last 6 years or so. We have talent all over the defensive backfield, talent at LB and while unproven a defensive line made up highly recruited players who all have experience. I expect to give up some yards but unfortunately for you this defense will have a chip on its shoulder.

Brand new field turf was installed this spring. They also returned the endzones to gold (like it was in the Don James era).

Have you seen what LSU's speed can do on field turf? Rain will def. aid the Huskies some but look for a healthy dose of Charle Scott, Keiland 'the calves' Williams and a sprinkle of Jordan Jefferson, Richard Murphy and and and............. You see the list goes on and on. LSU is in a total different recruiting league than Udub right now.

I wish you guys sincere good luck during the season but I don't see you guys even getting a 'moral victory' come Saturday night.

rain may affect one facet of LSUs attack, but it affects 100% of UW's. Locker is a helluva player and rain is his kryptonite. If it wasn't going to be wet then Locker can cut better, but LSU gets 100% of its speed component.

I do think UW will come out stoked, but LSU will come out flat angry. Sark's gonna be pulling razzle dazzle out early to take advantage of LSU's aggressiveness. UW will go up 7-0......LSU will go in at half 24-10

Ya'll starting right side of the OL is brand new. Neither the RG nor RT has been in a college football game as an offensive lineman.

Good luck with that.
