Dude, he has every right to come hear and tell several posters (many actually) to eat crow. They laughed him off claiming he was delusional for even thinking it would be close in the 4th. It was a one score game with 6 minutes to go in the 4th.

Polk and Locker shredded our defense for 400 yards and 16 points (could've been more with a fumble inside our 5). Give the kid his props for calling it right, and LSU fans proved this past few days how little they know about football by freaking out over the game. All they saw was 0-12 and forgot to look at circumstances. Same as us. Do we go 8-5 last year with Perrilloux playing at QB for us?

UW with Locker and less weapons than he has this year took USC to the wire in 2007 losing 27-24 in Locker's first season playing at all.

Kudos to UW. They're record will be much improved this season.

Hell, people forget the dolphins were an OT win aways from being 0-16 in 2007, and then went 11-5 the next year. Coaching can make a big difference.

Close is not a win. So...Locker, Polk, and whoever else looked good. I'd be hyped up to if I was playing someone ten times better than me and I'd give them my best shot (the first half).LSU football just took over in the second half. Locker was contained in the 2nd. I think our guys were tired and gave UW the last TD (That does not make it OK), but in the end - its a win for the Tigers and a loss for the huskies!

Locker is good, no doubt.

We did lose. And I didn't say for certain that we would win. I did say LSU would have trouble stopping our offense - I was ridiculed by many on here for 6 pages. I also said it would be a close game going into the 4th quarter. I was right.

AND, I can say that I feel much better about our loss than you probably do about your win.

With that said, good luck the rest of the way.

You are correct there Sir - you should feel good about your team, we're not quite sure what to think about our D yet. I do know J. Locker is a beast. Good luck...

MWash - Your team earned my respect. I hope the enthusiasm of a new start carries through the season. Everyone on this board should hope the Huskies win every game left. Good luck!

Congrats on calling it correctly.
I'd like to think its a function of an amazing offense than a fundamental flaw in the Tiger D.
The only people stopping the Husky attack were the Huskies themselves.

Heres to a good season for your team, may you go undefeated (ala Vtech) going forward to make our win look all the better.

Don't be that guy....

After enduring 6 pages of homers telling him his offense wouldn't be able to manage anything against our D, I think MWash has a right to be that guy. On the other hand

"I don't respect any competitors outside of the SEC", and
"LSU's D wasn't as dominant as I'd hoped, but I can't admit that I was wrong"...
Please, don't be that guy.

Good luck with the season, MWash. I hope Locker and company make a lot of other defenses look bad and win some games.

i agree, us LSU fans dared the WA fans to come on the board after the game so that we could be the "I told ya so" guys." They are back and they have a right to rub it in a little bit that they were often more correct in there pregame predictions than we were.

Dude - Good for you. Maybe you need to be the Husky asst. coach or something. Your team did good. It looks like Wash. will "suck les" this year. Good for you. Now, who do you play next week? Go.... Scat.... Go mess with them now.

Yep good luck from here on out.

Just take a deep breath and realize that LSU D was not as good Saturday as you thought it would be or as good as we hoped it would be.

After watching the game it would be easy to conclude your offense is better than it will end up being. Like wise it is easy to conclude that our team wont win another game. Both of which would be wrong. Not bashing. Just trying to say what went on so you understand better what went on (with our team) and don't have a big letdown when USC wins easily in a couple of weeks.

I will be pulling for yall against Idaho. Geaux Washington.

lsu480 = suckass. Not "everyone" on here was laughing at him. Get it right dude. Did you read the original responses to the posts or are you like the Senators on the 1000 page HEALTH CARE bill that don't take the time to read but feel as though they done made up their mind anyway? Lick it.

You were right on all accounts. I didn't read this thread prior to the game but it is comical how fans, prior to the game, were yelling 0-12. Then after the game the Miles defenders were justifying our performance by repeating your opinion of Locker.
Your team earned some respect. Some ranters are now predicting that you will be a force in the conference.
Good luck to the Huskies.
