think the list of potential Miles replacements is as follows (in no particular order):

(1) Leach;
(2) Kingsbury;
(3) Del Rio;
(4) Rich Rod;
(5) Gundy;
(6) Dabo;
(7) Kirby Smart;
(8) David Shaw.

Legitimately awful list

I'm all for Miles leaving. But I'd want the Cowboys to make playoffs. If they don't make playoffs Garrett is gone and Sumlin leaves leaving 2 high profile jobs open.

I don't want Miles to leave but I think Malzhan would be an interesting candidate. Get out of Bama's shadow and have even better recruiting grounds.
I think a small chance for Jimbo with his ties but may be hard to pull him from FSU.

1. Malzhan
2. Jimbo
3. Briles (I think he is a Baylor lifer)
4. Patterson (Do not want).
5. Gundy (I would be disappointed with this hire.
6. Dabo (torn on him)
7. Sonny Dykes (Darkhorse)

which one? You think one of the Harbough brothers gets fired? The Ravens one could possibly be on thin ice but I just don't see it.

I don't think it happens. To much good happening here plus he seems to love BR. But if he really is thinking about it we are going to have to pull out all the stops and do what we have to do to keep him.

And I'm not sure he's as good as Carroll/Saban.

He beat Carroll like a redheaded stepchild at STANFORD. Think about that.
