I still laugh at people thinking Harbaugh would leave SF when he has had so much success there. He has played in a superbowl, and didn't he play in like 3 or 4 consecutive NFC championship games?

Sidenote, Les isn't leaving. He didn't jump ship last two times, he won't know.

If he does, give me Dana Holgorsen.

Have you been paying attention to the news? Harbaugh isnt exactly getting along with his players or ownership.

It's like the Bear said when mama calls you gotta go.

one of the best offensive minds in college football.
he is a wizard. His offensive genius has not won any thing in mediocre conferences. Great coaches win alot of championships, good coaches win a few, bad coaches win one South Division in the Big 12 in 13 years. Bad coaches string together losing seasons, of which Leach will have his third in a row this year.

I think Fisher gets the first call, not Harbaugh, if Miles bolts.

pretty sure the success that he's had has nothing to do with how unhappy the locker room and management are.

If we go with any offensive guy, I would want to approach Briles. His Texas ties would be pretty damn valuable. That said I think it is improbable that Miles leaves.

The Michigan program is in shambles right now and in need of a major overhaul.

Miles in his career has never had to rebuild a program that was gutted and just plain bad. Not sure that he can rebuild a problem and bring it to a national power level to be honest with you. I do however believe that he is able to sustain a program at a certain level.

Doubt that he would even take that job now if it was really offered it. Couldn't see him walking away from what he has at LSU right now.

conversely, if Miles were to leave, other coaches would have to be salivating as to what kind of talent would be left for him to coach.

Harbaugh ain't leaving the NFL. Even if he leaves SF, some other NFL team will snatch him out of his shoes. That is a pipe dream.

I think the list of potential Miles replacements is as follows (in no particular order):

(1) Leach;
(2) Kingsbury;
(3) Del Rio;
(4) Rich Rod;
(5) Gundy;
(6) Dabo;
(7) Kirby Smart;
(8) David Shaw.

Mike Leach is a goofball. He just is. If you think Les is goofy you've seen nothing like ML.

I'm not a big fan of CLM. I've said that since I started posting on TD, but I have absolutely no reason to believe the man would leave Baton Rouge right now with a young daughter and two high school aged boys immersed in their school's athletic programs. Not to mention the man is basically a demi-god in Baton Rouge. He's also getting up there in coaching age...he msot likely coaches another 6-8 years, gets his kids out of school, and then might think about moving home, if he even cares to.
