3 Different Coaches - 3 National Championships?

If LSU wins the Championship, it will be done with the 3rd different coach, and two of those coaches played against each other for another championship.

I think that is pretty unique.

I understand winning under one coach, two if the program is passed off, but three is pretty neat...

IF it happens.

Miami won 4 national titles out of 8 seasons with 3 different coaches. That’s the only other thing that comes to mind. It’s quite impressive.

It was Sabans 4th year. Kind of 3 and a half for Orgeron too.

Miles was riding Saban’s coattails the entire time, so it’s just 2 coaches.
