Combs looks like a pretty productive player. Checking out his stats, as a sophomore when he was healthy he really looked like a glass cleaner. 10.5 rebounds a game isn't bad at all.

The problem with him is he's an abjectly horrible free throw shooter and his assist/turnover ratio is just miserable, but I suppose beggars can't be choosers.

I'd rather get Shakur Juiston or Kyvon Davenport or even Tony Farmer than this guy, but I can't say we have much of a shot with any of them. Combs at least can give you some rebounding, defense and scoring around the goal and you've got virtually none of that right now.

EDIT: Combs has a 40' vertical leap.
