In all seriousness. I doubt Wade is willing to bring this guy along in his first season. It wouldn't look very good on his part

If he did it would be because Abdelmassih vouched for the kid.
At this point I wouldn't even warrant that he's within striking distance academically.
But he's got to find an SEC-quality post player. Unless he can somehow get Victor back with an actual brain in his head, he's going to get absolutely murdered in the paint this winter with what he has.

I saw on the VCU melt board there is a kid named Batts they are really high on and concerned he will jump with Wade. Anyone know about him?

I agree, but supposedly Abdelmassih is suppose to be a really good transfer recruiter, so maybe if we can sign him soon he can find us a grad transfer

I'd love to know who the grad transfer candidates are.
Abdelmassih is also supposed to be a JUCO whiz as well. We need that badly right now.

Hopefully, he brings in a couple of other big time recruiters to be on his staff. Reading up on Wade, it sounds like he's a pretty damn good recruiter himself. Lots of reasons to believe we just struck gold with this hire. Wade is very impressive

Batts is ranked right around #100 in the country by all the recruiting services I've seen. He seems like he's a quality player, as are the two 6-9 kids (Sean Mobley, who 247 has as #150, and Mayan Kiir, who they have as #154) Wade signed in the fall. Batts is the big gun in the group.

Kiir is exactly what we need in this class. No idea on possible grad transfers tho. I can't imagine there being any big names tho.

So what's the timeline for spring recruiting? When can Wade start recruiting, and when is signing day for c/o 2017?
Also, I noticed the other day that 247 has VCU's class as comitted, but not signed. Is that not the case? Does 247 need to update their database?

Don't know the exact dates, but the spring contact period begins in early April and I believe signing begins on April 12.

Noah Dickerson is transferring from UW. Chose UW over LSU. Put up 12 pts and 8 rebs last year. Go and get him.

Noah Dickerson would be a good get so would the Jeter guy but they wouldn't be able to play next year though so would still need a fresh or juco big.
