Tom Loy just CB'd Scott to Maryland. What could this possibly be based on given Lindsey's forthcoming visit to LSU? I could see someone talking to him AFTER the visit and getting a feel for whether he's been convinced, but it seems premature to be CB'ing on Wednesday before his final visit.

Am I reading too much into this?

ETA: He's on 24/7.

Shot in the dark, maybe? We really won't know until after this visit.

He may end up being right...I don't know. But I feel it's a guess at this point.

From what I've gathered, no one is going to know anything about what he's doing until he says so.

Yes.

We do need to lock this kid up though or it will haunt us

Tom Loy still thinks Nick Brossette is going to Notre Dame.

Tom Loy is a f*cking moron. The dude had a CB for LF to Notre Dame at one point in time and had one for Shea til the day before he committed to Ole Miss.

Tom Loy is equivalent to Taylor Hamm. Biased and uninformed.

agree. this kid is too smart to make this decision without visiting everyone he wants to.

He will probably sit down with his family after this weekend, discuss thing, and make a decision.

Won't be surprised put it that way. The kid has an unbelievable head on his shoulders. He knows what going to the right college is truly about. Either here or there that kid is a winner

I think people don't realize how smart Scott is and while it may be our own dream to have played for the Tigers, it may not be the same for some of these local guys. Not saying he doesn't want to, just saying that maybe he values a degree more and wants it from a program that has more to offer academically than LSU, although I don't know what he would major in.

Another thing bc I can't remember and just curious, did LSU extend an offer to him? I can't remember for shite.

I was wondering the same thing.

I mean hell, for all we know he may want early PT and I don't believe he sees that here. You just never know.

Why would anyone expect him here at this point?

Yes we did offer. His high school coached was asked if he was an LSU fan and has dreamed about playing at LSU and he said not really. Academics will come first for Scott.

germans... but how many spots are we really looking at left right now? can we over-sign? with our early enrollees and any possible grey shirts... etc...

if Shyheim is a legit considering... and Christmas-Giles CBs thinking Texas...

maybe the final 3 is Fulton, Mullen, Carter..

no need to ever publicly retract an offer (barring criminal stuff), coaches just let Scott know to head elsewhere...

Yeah and Maryland's seafood is superior to Louisiana's.
