TBH, the Franks thing is damn near all of our dumbass AD's fault. Franks made it clear the uncertainty is what made him switch.

You really believe that?

That is complete bullshite.

The kid had already taken multiple unofficial visits to Florida when LSU was 7-0 and ranked #2 in the country. There was no uncertainty surrounding LES by the time he started wavering from his commitment to LSU. He just used that excuse when he announced his decommitment.

I really think Franks is a prima donna of sorts. I remember people say he* wouldn't waiver bc he was brought up in a military family.

agree. this kid is too smart to make this decision without visiting everyone he wants to. He will probably sit down with his family after this weekend, discuss thing, and make a decision.

I think he has a pretty good idea where he is going. The big thing here is that he has been a decorated HS player yet has been left out of the recruiting dance so to speak up until the 11th hour. A lot of these kids have been basking in the glory for more than a year now. I don't blame him one bit for playing his cards close to the vest and announcing maybe on NSD and getting some well deserved attention. Give'em hell Lindsey!

I do think he is smart enough though that if he has made a decision the appropriate people know it. I have noticed a distinct cessation of QB recruiting scrambling at LSU since Cam's visit last week... and maybe I am just full of shite too.

Not sure what they will run. Spread maybe? Durkin is a defensive guru and I'm not sure what his offensive style is

He reported a 25 on the ACT. Nothing to sneeze at, but wouldn't be a typical Harvard invite with that. He's sharp though. Wouldn't mind having him here.

5 CB's to Maryland today alone - something is definitely up but with the last visit, gotta figure the door's still open.

Fine if Scott wants to flirt. Just so long as he's ok with LSU continuing to play the field, too.

Hope he signs soon.

We're a week away from NSD and have no real shot at ANY QB. So yeah, LSU can't exactly "continue to play the field".

Scott will be more dynamic than Frank's on the right team. Maryland can run spread all day but with shite wr's and olineman it won't matter what offense they run. Come to Lsu where he's surrounded by NFL talent. We will run more spread and he will need good Oline play and NFL WR talent. He's good enough to play in sec. Russell Wilson clone ??

CB are the absolutely worst predictor of where a kid will end up. I feel confident (just a feeling) he ends up at LSU.

Crap on my post/belief all you want but guess what the idiots giving Maryland the CB's are doing it off of just a gut feeling as well. They don't have any info either.

Forbes:
Maryland Ranked 93rd:

The flagship institution of Maryland’s state university system, the University of Maryland, College Park, was established in 1856 and today ranks as the No. 93 school in the country. It is considered a “Public Ivy” institution, specializing in research, innovation and entrepreneurship. UMD offers 91 undergraduate majors as well as graduate, certificate, and pre-professional programs across its 14 schools and colleges, including a Graduate School. The university is home to more than 37,000 students and is located approximately eight miles away from Washington D.C., allowing for strong research partnerships with the Federal Government. The university has an annual research budget of approximately $500 million. It actively promotes entrepreneurship, too. Each spring the school celebrates “30 Days of enTREPreneurship,” awarding more than a quarter million dollars for top ideas and innovations. Notable alumni include Google cofounder Sergey Brin, "Seinfeld" co-creator Larry David and U.S. Congress House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer. The University of Maryland competes in NCAA Division I sports in the Big Ten Conference.

LSU Ranked 191st:

Louisiana State University houses 15 schools on its Baton Rouge campus, two of which are nationally recognized—its School of the Coast and Environment and School of Veterinary Medicine. LSU is also one of the only higher education institutions in the country where students can study Cajun French. Half of freshmen receive grants from the school averaging nearly $4,000. LSU has 24 housing options, but students are neither required to live on campus nor guaranteed campus housing. The school does have an aid program, Pelican Promise, that provides a financial safety net for students who live 150% below the poverty level. Each semester, graduating students take part in “Ring Day,” where they are presented their class ring by the school mascot and Miss LSU. The university is home to over 350 student organizations, including 40 Greek chapters. LSU competes in 21 NCAA Division I sports.

So, if you are not likely to go into the NFL, what school do you choose?
