So that's a new one--we had a "kidding" conspiracy theorist amongst us--thinking Collins is setting up Bama, then switching to LSU? Did you get this idea recalling what Janzen Jackson did to LSU & wound up at Tennessee, where he proceeded to have lots of off the field problems.

You seem stupid. Les Miles has obtained signatures from 90% of Instate prospects offered in his tenure. That's a decent ratio. In fact, i dont think it can be matched. If Landon didnt happen to start dating a girl going to bama, I think he would have been at lsu. It was basically luck. Also, I'm unsure about the death threats, etc but if true it's highly hypocritical of bama fans to criticize since you did the exact same thing to Brent Calloway when he committed to auburn at the us army aa game last year.

1. I applaud your positivity. The fat lady will not sing until signing day. We must allow for the slim chance. Maybe he will decide based on factors that have not yet occurred in space-time.
2. No one can predict what players will beat out other players to start or how much they will be used in the rotation at LSU or Alabama. I dont care how good you think certain players are, or how complicated schemes are. He might be needed. You dont know.
3. A couple of five star Alabama guys, at least one of them a freshman, are injured. They had no impact on the previous game and they are still out.
Being 5 star is no guarantee that he will ever play a down.
Some guys are knuckleheads. Some are just unlucky.
80% of 5 star guys do not make it in the NFL.

People need to really stop claiming he's going there for his girl. It's almost 99% likely its the opposite, especially if what he claimed last night about deciding on Bama 2 years ago is true. She got a scholarship there to follow him, not vice versa.
I really don't give a rat's arse about the kid. He's attracted to Nick Saban as a coach. We've seen the kind of kids Saban attracts since he's been at Bama, and I want nothing to do with a kid that enamored in a prick that is a documented con man no matter how good a coach he supposedly is.

The most plausible theory in this whole saga is that his mother is feigning allegiance to LSU in order to fend off persecution from other family members, friends, neighbors and the The Tiger Faithful. I think this is what's really happening. Check back next fall and see if she's still upset.
