I wonder if LC ever watched bama on tv and seen saban act like a little spoiled brat when things don't go right? Or does he even care?

Great point - we are freaking rolling right now. Absurd to lose any player we want from Louisiana.

how do you make a player sign with you who wants to be somewhere else?

A lot of it has to do with how good Saban is at closing. That and the media perception on Saban doesn't help. He is perceived to be a god and can do no wrong. The BEST coach in CFB that develops talent to the NFL better than anyone. While Miles is just perceived as a laid back, CEO type head coach.
Saban feeds off this in his recruiting and no doubt still finds ways to negative recruit against LSU even with a season like this. I'm sure he still takes credit for LSU's current success right now too. He is the ONLY person who can recruit a Louisiana blue chip player because of his history here. So until he leaves or dies, just get use to him plucking a blue chip recruit from us every now and then.

He better bring the wood and make the best of his opportunity. He is taking a big gamble, if for some reason he doesn't work out, saban will step right over him to the next 5 star db and he will not have the cushion he would of had back home.

Is he 17 or 18? If only 17 will his parents have to sign his LOI?
I recall some issue a few years ago with a parent forging a kid's LOI. Seems like Ole Miss was somehow involved.
Anyway, just wondering if that is a requirement...

Saban is the best marketing campaign since Xmas. The aura of saban, the way he handles and carries himself. Fact is, most of those blue chips would ball anywhere.
Let's not forget, next year we will hit the trail hard. If we win Monday, we could close very strong.

I agree with this. We have an elite young secondary and there will be other elite DBs that will have the "want" to wear purple and gold.

Dude....there is absolutely no way you believe that is there? C'mon man. I'm sure his gf had an opinion but damn dude, if LC wanted to go to LSU his gf would be at LSU. Saban and Les are as good as it gets when identifying talent and getting them on campus.....do you really believe Saban had NOTHING to do with LC wanting to go to Alabama? Wow...

I don't think we can put Miles in the same category as Saban from a recruiting standpoint. Les Miles makes the most of the talent he gets while saban gets just about anyone he wants. He is the new Pete Carrol, just not as laid back, but nothing like Les Miles.

his gf is getting a scholarship and/or certain benefits to attend ala. her parents probably said no way are we going to PAY to go to LSU when we have a free ride at ala. if LC really loves you he will understand and follow you. gf and her family had a HUGE impact on lc. that doesn't mean lc doesn't like ala or that he would have followed her to a div. 2 school.
