I was much more irritable when I tried to go 7 days between shots. By Sunday I was snappy with my family and very short tempered. Staying consistent is much better although self injection 2x week does suck. And in my past I have been known to have anger issues, and that was a worry when I started but my doc says that when t is in more normalized levels you'll be overall happier and slower to anger. It's the ones who abuse and have way crazy high numbers are the ones who rage. I felt much better with the increase I gained, but the dr wants it to be mid 700/ low 800 for my age.

Roid rage is a myth. It will only enhance your natural personality. Only three steroids raise aggression. Sorry but your anger issue were not from once a week injections.

Twice weekly is better but with an 8 day half life, enanthate still had your levels perfectly fine and more than likely well within normal range.

Sorry to bust your roof rage bubble

Again like I said above, your anger issue were not caused by testosterone. There is no study showing it causes increased aggression at all and it's anabolic/androgenic ratio would not lend it to that.

Not trying to be mean but you are more than likely an a-hole and the test just brought out your natural tendencies. Only tren, halo and Cheque drops have shown to increase aggression and cause personality changes.

Sorry for the late response. I go to an anti-aging clinic, not my general practice right so I pay out of pocket for everything. Testosterone costs ~ $75/mo and you have blood tests every six months that run about $200. Overall its very affordable.

My insurance covers all blood work and my script is about $11 for a 10cc vial.

I don't know why you're getting down voted. Only person in the thread who knows what they're talking about. I would say shitty test to estrogen ratio causes mood swings if someone wants to point to something causing emotional changes.

Because they want to use it as an excuse to be an a-hole. Same thing 99% of steroid users do.

and yea test to estro ratios will cause mood swings. so will test levels bouncing all over the place due to doctors not understanding half lifes and giving shots once a month and stupid shite like that. Luckily I goto one of the top 3 doctors in the world concerning this at baylor medical.

and yea if they wanna know mood swings, try going on high dosed clomid for a year straight with only hcg while having low test before you started. shite had me an emotional wreck after a few months but not in the a-hole way, just very sensitive which is the opposite of my normal personality.

I never said I had anger issues due to test. My anger issues were at a much younger age, and have been very much under control for many many years.

I'm not on enanthate, I'm on cypionate, and while the halflife is supposed to be 8 days, I still felt A difference toward the end of the week. That's why I went 2x week.

I reacted very negatively to HCG the dr said he had never seen it, but the day after hcg injection I Would swell up like a balloon. My feet and lower legs Would get horrible edema, my knees and back started aching, so I dropped hcg.

Agreed roid rage is a myth

I've never done but if you're a douchebag prior to taking it you'll be a bigger douchebag after. Like you said and from my observations this is what appears to be the case

When I was researching this before I went on trt, the only ones I could find that increased aggression in studies were tren, halo and cheque drops.

Any negatives?

Again if used correctly? What's the number or real world stats of clots? DVT or pulmonary embolus?

One negative I chuckled about that happened with a friend? Divorce. For him it was like a woman getting tits. He got in better shape and attitude and symtarted hitting the gym harder. Wife couldn't keep up and he was fricking somebody else within a few months. I believe MANY other variables were at play here, but the testosterone was a piece to the puzzle.

So testosterone makes you cheat on your wife now? No the fact that your friend is a scum bag is why he did that, not testosterone.

Use some common damn sense and stop blaming testosterone for stupid shite.

And yea there are negatives, shots weekly, infertility and a few others but those two are the main ones so long as it's true trt and not cycling test.

While I'm not as informed as you (or others in this thread), I've read about the staggering increases in this 'industry' over the past decade. My perception is that a relatively small percentage (20%?) of the huge increase in population taking Testosterone therapy need it while the rest are guys using it as an edge for working out.

I may consider it in my 50s/60s but not anytime soon.

Not a friend, just a dude I know through about 4 degrees of separation. And I said many other "variables" are needed. Gotta have it in your mind you are gonna cheat and lose your mind.

My main question was the first, blood clots? What's research say on these? I know I have taken care of a couple of men with DVT. Is the TRT to blame or is it the shite working conditions? Sitting at a desk all day? Would he have gotten the clot anyway?

When on TRT, you should be having regular bloods pulled. This will show your hematocrit levels which you and your doc can monitor. If they begin to change, your doc should act accordingly.

it can increase hemocrit levels in some individuals and they should be monitored. BUt true trt just puts you into normal ranges.
