Hey guys, hope y’all don’t mind me jumping in on this thread to ask a question about TRT.
I’m 52 with a natural level of 470 or so but my free was borderline low. After asking around, I was able to find a general practitioner in our area who would not just look at the overall 470 and say “you’re fine, see ya,” but would actually listen to me (and test my free test level also). His plan is to give me 1 shot a week for 3 weeks, and then I’m going to a maintenance phase of one shot once every three weeks. After reading up on TRT some, I’m worried that this is an “old school” theory of treatment, and once every 3 weeks isn’t going to help that much - possibly even be counterproductive.
Does anyone here have any thoughts on the way I’m being treated?
I guess if I start feeling a loss of “oomph” between treatments, I can just plain out ask him to step it up. (He even mentioned that as a posssibility).

Your doctor is dumb, find a new doctor or talk to him about the 8 day half life and how peaks and valleys is not something you want and ask to split the dosage with twice weekly injections

What test do they give you? C or E?

I will try. The only option he has mentioned thus far is that if one shot once every three weeks doesn’t cut it, he will move me up to once every two weeks. I wonder if getting it moved up to once every 2 weeks and giving myself 1/2 cc twice a week would do better. It’s not much but maybe it would give me a little umph?

Just ask him why he can't split the dosage to at least once a week. Tell him you have been reading a ton on the net and that with the half life of cypionate and enanthate it's best to be at a minimum of once let week. It's your body, stand up to him about your treatment.
