Same. I used 100% of my squat max the month after squatober thinking I was hot shite and boy was I wrong

Started today. Kids are very busy in baseball but whined about it for a month and half now time to get back to work.

I really liked the high rep/lower % set at end of the major lift sections.

Hour and 10 minutes to complete Day 1 this morning

I’ll be using these numbers next week. Up +10 BP, +20 SQ and DL from start of grasshopper 6 weeks ago.

Did the warmups...my rest times are probably less than prescribed. I dont time them i just go again when i feel ready

I try hard to following the programs perfectly, but sometimes I get bored waiting the full 3 minutes.

Same! I find myself pacing to keep from just standing still. I usually force myself to wait at least 2 min.

I work out with a partner so we are always swapping weights between sets for part of the time. When we are using 90% TMs I’d guess we are closer to 60-90s rest between sets until the the weights get heavy (>85%) or there is an AMRAP and then we take more rest.

For those who don’t max out after each program, what do y’all increase your training maxes by? I’m thinking 15# for deads, 10# for squats, and 5# for bench. Sound right?

I know that’s not a ton of progress on bench, but I’m making solid progress and figure it’s better to keep progressing instead of hitting a wall and plateauing. But I also don’t want to leave #gainz on the table.

What’s everyone’s thoughts?

10 on dl and squat, 5 on bp is what I've been doing if I don't max

I do 10lb for squat/deadlifts. 5 for bench. 60lbs in a year for bench is a lot. I’m probably more 3 steps forward, 2 1/2 steps back on bench at this point.

I generally do 10# to 1rm (not tm) for dead and squat if I did those exercise that month, and 5# to bench. I also round down to the nearest 5 lbs for %s on weeks 1 and 2, and round up to the next 5 lbs for weeks 3 and 4. I also sometimes do less or more if it’s just a lot easier (2 plates on bench vs loading 220 lol)

I’m in week 2 right now, but I’ll start over to do it with y’all. This is one of my favorite programs since the pump is so good on Fridays.
