Reason why this gimmick Mantle wont take off.

I won't go that far because some developers seems to be working with it but others are saying that it's greatest accomplishment will be to push other companies like microsoft to improve directx. I saw them say nvidia already has some form of a low level API but I don't know anything about it.

Technologies I was excited for
1) my ps2 could play dvd's, holy shite!
2) cable modem was a long fight in my house. My dad didn't believe me and my brother when we said it was much better than dial up. Eventually we won

Did you have a Switch 810 at some point or am I thinking of someone else? I'm trying to figure out what size radiator I can put in the top. NZXT website says it'll hold 3x120 or 3x140 fans but I know how they are sometimes with their fan sizes (I'm looking at you Phantom).

ETA: Would this be a good kit if it fits?

ASRock Z77 Extreme6
I7-3770K
(2) GTX660ti in SLI

Don't know if I'll put the cards under or not yet.

I had the switch. I put a 360 rad up top (I think it was the black ice sr1 or something like it)

If anything upgrade to the 7950s, 7970s, 280x, etc or 770, 780. Then watercool the cards later down the road

Of course, there's always the universal GPU block route. They are highly effective, but you'll need some cheap ramsinks and some sort of VRM cooling solution (assuming there wasn't a separate VRM heatsink solution with the stock cooler). GPU die sizes make them very WC-friendly. Given the loudness of many of the GPU coolers on the market, it's almost worth it for the sake of noise reduction.

Why?

Like putting 670s underwater.

EDT: You can get a 660Ti for $179 now? Wow. Didn't know that. Yeah your block will be the price of the card but I really dont see an issue with it.

cpu: i5-3570k ivy bridge
gcard: gtx 670
memory 8gig
monitor: benq xl2420t

What can I do to get the most out of my system? I have never over clocked anything in my life, bc I pretend to know about computers but I really do not know shite.
