I want to do this.
I'm going to wait and see how their 3rd revision turns out before I do it.
Shouldn't be too hard to mount to an ATX case.

They were talking about emulating a Macintosh SE which is a really old Macintosh that came out in 1987. No idea why you would want to emulate that

I remember in college a friend of mine bought a 100% glass case that you could see into, with lights flashing in every corner..
ETA: Disclaimer.. at the time I thought it was the coolest thing since sliced bread.. just sayin'

I thought those looked cool back then, too. Those acrylic cases were a novelty and relatively expensive. Now they're cheap and don't appear to be good quality. It would be difficult to make them look decent since you can't hide wires. You'd have to ziptie or velcro them in clean parallel lines and sleeve everything.

I have some led fans but that's it. I actually like the way they accent my black case. I don't want it to look like a christmas tree though

I removed all the LEDs from my fans and crap. I just rigger in a small white LED strip on the bottom of the inside of the chassis on the side with the window. I have a big window but it looks pretty good IMO.

glad you're still enjoying them. It wasn't that I disliked them. I think LED can look classy if done right, especially in an R4.
