I fired up Snake Eater over the weekend and I'm gonna do Peace Walker after that leading up to Phantom Pain.
I'm way to rusty on these games. Took me almost 2 hours just to beat the Virtous mission. Beat The Pain and thats where I left off last night.
Game has me sucked in already, night can't get here fast enough so I can play.

File size means shite.
Some games use uncompressed audio and their file size is huge. Some compress and their's is smaller. The Witcher 3 was 40GB on PC. GTAV is 65GB. MGS4 was about 30GB (cut scenes y'all).
MGSV won't be as graphically intense as The Witcher 3 and won't have an entire city population to build like GTAV, plus they also compressed most of the audio in the game...stands to reason it'd be a smaller file size.

This game doesn't seem that great tbh. Watching it on twitch and it's just bleh

Bwahaha...I played the first four missions and two side ops. Game is amazing and it's been barely above a tutorial-type start. The open world aspect is a little overwhelming at first with me not being sure what to do first.
That opening sequence was outstanding.

The whole prologue is very disturbing on many levels.

Pretty crazy, cannot wait to get off of work. I only got to see Ocelot.

I've been watching some guy play this on Twitch for a few hours. It seems like it has almost no story at all so far. I guess that's a good thing to some considering the amount of cut scenes in the last MGS. Not sure what to think about it, really.

I didn't catch the beginning. I'll have to go check it out on Youtube.

Buy the game and play. I'm in my early 30's and not used to this whole Twitch watching gameplay. I'd rather judge for myself.
I promise you won't be disappointed.

I plan on playing it regardless. I have gamefly so I expect it soon. The gameplay looks fricking awesome. I think I'd have a blast with it. I was just surprised at the lack of cut scenes that I saw in the game. I always enjoy the MGS stories and characters, even though I never fully know WTF is going on.

+1 on that baw. I tried looking up Big Boss' history online after reading postings on this thread, and got so confused I just gave up.
Wait until you experience the first chase scene in the beginning. I was LOLing this morning at the ridiculousness of the "fiery" chase.

I am enjoying it right now, (just passed the introduction to Mother Base) but I found the introduction to be almost insufferable.
