I've used Quiet and D-Dog the most, never touched the walker. I might try working towards S-ranking all the missions.

Walker is pretty good once you get the scout head. I can't really use it for its non-lethal loadout though unless I cheese the reflex mode. He is useful to getting around when you're just farming from one outpost to the next.

I just started playing this game on Sunday. Haven't gotten very far but I like it so far. This is my first MGS game.
I wasn't prepared for the crazy stuff in the opening...fire men, super powers and all that jazz. I thought this was more of a straight up type of game grounded in reality. Not a big deal but my least favorite part so far.
Now that I'm running missions in Afghanistan I'm enjoying it more. I don't really care too much about my final grades. I was going full on Rambo at first. But now I have the upgrade to the binoculars where I can see soldier attributes so I'm being more careful and trying to grab the best enemy soldiers. That leads to a lot more stuns and fultons instead of kills.
Also got DD last night. Looking forward to that!

This series ties in a lot of wacky stuff into the "realism". It's what makes Metal Gear, Metal Gear. Welcome to the series.
I'm trying to figure out MGO right now. Played a few matches and it's ok. Initial loadouts suck, though. But it is fun CQCing people out of their walker gear and fultoning them out.

i just bought a ps4 to play this and i am not disappointed. only a few missions in but wow, it's deep and complex and has LOTS to do. i went in expecting it to be good, but nowhere near MGS IV: guns of the patriots. i got over that quickly.
after this looking forward to building up my ps4 library.
