Old Tyme Grocery in Lafayette makes a mean one.

They don't like when I wear an LSU shirt in there though

Use Good Bread
Don't over cook the shrimp
Fresh shreded lettuce and tomato
Blue plate mayo
Sliced dill pickles

Do that and it's hard to go wrong, beautiful thing about a shrimp poboy is that you can get a one at gas station or a high end restaurant and if they do those thing there won't be a discernible difference.

Spahrs

Although I will say that I've had shrimp poboys from a couple of gas stations that can compete with almost any restaurant I can think of.

Lafayette: Pop's is legit and better than most in that area, including Olde Tyme.

Slidell: Keith's Seafood (shite ton of shrimp) or Southside Cafe

NOLA: Mother's

BTW, Soft Shell Crab>>>>>>>>>Shrimp.

Keith's address is as follows: 240 Pontchartrain Dr, Slidell, LA 70458
