We had a Danny and Clyde 3 blocks from our house growing up, I miss that place. There are no more D&Cs in Houma/Thib that I know of.

Haven't had Keith's but I've had Southside and it doesn't compare to Pecks. Which I like better than guys or parkway.

In New Orleans area I like (in no particular order):

Guy's
Parkway
Crabby Jack's
Cast Net Seafood
R&O's
Arabi Food Store
Johnny's Seafood Downtown

I probably like Guy's, Cast Net, or Parkway the best for shrimp poboys if I had to pick.

I love me some Shrimp poboys. My personal favorites:

Domileses
Sammys (grilled shrimp but good nonetheless)
Pops is legit. They also have a great hot chicken po boy called Hot hot. Excellent.
Derells in lake Charles

They may sound cliche but let's think about it. They are popular because they attract masses of people. Their acclaim is proof in the pudding.

In NOLA Parkway and Crabby Jacks are great..There's a corner store in the point that always made GOAT shrimp but I have no idea if it is still there. Believe it was on Patterson Rd.
Northshore has Pontchartrain Poboys and Crabby Shack
I don't order Po boys in BR very much

Another vote for Castnet Seafood.

Half Pound of peeled shrimp (pre-cooked weight) on every po-boy. Cooked to order. Averages 30 to 35 shrimp per sandwich.

Their speckled trout po-boy is badass too.

Arabi Food Store

That place is still open? We used to go there and get po-boys for lunch when I worked at Jackson Barracks. Besides the Spur Station (not there anymore I think) on Paris Road at Judge Perez, Arabi had the best shrimp po-boys.

In Denham Springs/Watson Po-Boy Express and Story's makes the best shrimp po-boys.

Resurrecting this thread because it doesn't answer an extremely important question: who has the best poboy in Covington / Mandeville?

Bonus question. I'd the top place is not open on Saturday night, what is the best spot that is?

I looked at their menu and all I'm seeing in the form of a shrimp poboy is the Banh Banh, and I'm assuming it's a reference to the Vietnamese Banh Mi with mayo, carrots, cucumber, cilantro. Is this what everyone is recommending?

Crispy Shrimp under "Classic".
