Sugar in a canister. Regular salt in a shaker. Coarse salt in a salt mill and a frayed leaky box.

The kosher salt is in the box it came in.

My table salt and pepper are in antique Ball mason shakers.

But I want to start keeping my salt in a salt box.

Oh. Sugar is in this old sugar and cream Tupperware set from the 90s

we keep kosher salt in a bamboo box

and we keep morton salt in a salt shaker that looks exactly like this:

Sugar gets poured into a plastic cannister that has a scoop in it. Also keep a bowl of regular sugar in a pretty sugar bowl that was part of my grandmas china.

Then I have a packet holder for splenda.

We use antique depression glass butter dishes - clear for salt and pink for sugar. They are visible in all of the ingredient photos of my recipe posts.

Together, they are worth at least $20.00 (if cost of salt and sugar are included) - So suffer poor people.

Iodized salt: The only thing I use it for is for brining. No need for any container.

Morton's Kosher Salt: I pour either directly into what I'm cooking or into the palm of my hand directly from the box, then distribute it for desired portioning.

Maldon Salt: I keep it in a bamboo salt vessel with a magnetic lid.

Sugar in one of those countertop jars

Kosher salt in Ball mason glass jar. Which apparently has to sit on a gold tray with the pepper mill, olive oil, and vinegar....because you know its an accent piece or whatever

bamboo container for salt. it's great. the top flips open easily and it's a breeze to pinch it out when using.

I keep sugar in a glass canister with a sealed lid. I bought some rock sugar a while back and this is the canister it came it

I don't use a lot of sugar. It stays in the bag in a ziploc bag in the pantry save some I keep in the little sugar jar for coffee or small amounts I might use in cooking.

I use David's Kosher salt. I don't like Morton's. I buy the plastic containers of David's and just pour it into my Alton Brown salt cellar, which I wash when empty and refill. No rice needed.
