re: Are there ways to clean dogs teeth without anesthesia? - marie antoinette
We give dental bones to our dog and we have chicken flavored toothpaste. I put it in my fingers and rub her teeth. She LOVES it. We haven't had to get her teeth cleaned since we got her 3 years ago. ...

re: Apartment broken into.. Move out, buy alarm, weapon train? - marie antoinette
Security systems are great for when you're not home. Gotta love those BRPD response times. And if you are home, nothing makes you feel safer than a desk jockey wearing an Oxford shirt calling you from a 1,000 miles away asking you what your secret code word is.
We also have a pani...

Simpli Safe alarm system. We used it as renters. No contract, can take it with you when you leave. We paid like $17 a month for it to call our cell phones for a safe word if it went off. Loved it....

re: Married men , could you live by yourself on 35k a year? - marie antoinette
It's right around $1200. It leaves us just under $1000 a month for everything else. We really haven't pulled much from our savings (under $1000) and have been living on this since April. A single person could save each month without some of the expenses that we have (an infant, student loans). O...
I never said they couldn't.
I saw others state otherwise and was addressing more of the blanket of the conversation rather than specific points of your argument.
I acknowledge that. Sorry for your situation. That sucks.
You don't need to apologize. We planned for it and knew it would happen. We're fine and very happy. But thank you. I was trying to address the fact that a family CAN live off of this. We were able to take advantage of tha...

Let's see if any of you jerks actually read this. I am a living person who currently earns 35k a year. Here is what you can actually do. -We already own a home. I live in a sought after neighborhood in the city limits of Lafayette. We are able to pay our mortgage +$100 a month. We have a home ...

re: Married men , could you live by yourself on 35k a year? - marie antoinette
We're currently living off of one small non-profit salary, own our home, continue to pay my student loans and have a baby. We've had to make major cuts in our expenses and eat 95% of our meals at home. It's definitely doable. We're very happy and find things to do that are free for us to enjoy. ...
