Thanks. I don't know how long you'll be in LC but you can find some pretty good food there. I like Mazen's lamb, but usually go for their veal chateaubriand. I don't think it was ever on the menu, but was a running special every time I've eaten there (it's been a while). I had a couple good meals the last time I was in town. Had several apps, wine, and desert and Embers at Lauberge. The foie gras app was excellent. Had a good meal at Calla, and the bone marrow app was great. Darrell's (special) and Tony's are landmarks.

I'm here a good bit. Had a Darrell special for lunch. Don't tell anyone that tho, may insight a riot.

Headed to country club grill at nugget. Has a good menu... Have enjoyed apps n drinks there, but not dinner. Gonna give it a whirl.

Leftover quinoa with roasted chicken and veggies. I served it with a general tso sauce. Not bad.

You inspired me Otis. Two big pieces of pan seared wild caught fresh Sockeye salmon. A bottle of chardonnay. No sides again tonight. It's great.

Looks like some good Q. Did you sauce, or is that some form of a dry seasoning, mop, glaze combination? Googling salmon deviled eggs.

I'll find the rub.
Sauce was:
Brown sugar
Ketchup
5 spice
Apple cider vinegar
Salt and black pepper
Cayenne
White pepper
Worchestire
Applied at the last 45 min of smoke time.
