Some shrimp over pasta. Sautéing some shallots in olive oil, adding garlic, some crushed tomatoes, shrimp, and a few basil leaves. Going over angel hair.

Chef's Life Chicken and Rice

Easy and good. Chicken has been simmering for an hour and a half. Nice rainy Monday night meal.

The wife (MHNBPF) is at Bunko tonight.

Supposedly they have dinner and then play cards, but I know better. Somewhere between the house and work tomorrow morning I will find at least one yard rolled. The wife has a really fast car, so I think she drives get away. One time there was a house up the street where someone had cut wheelies all through the grass after rolling their Magnolia. I hid my face when I passed by each morning for weeks until the burned grass healed up.

With her not here, I plundered and pillaged the freezer, then had some kind of leftover chicken, noodles, peppers, onions and cheese stuff in a tin foil pan I found in the back under an old box of freezer burned fish sticks I bought on a whim one night.

The casserrouulle (sp?) was a little wet, so I located a short sleeve of Ritz crackers in the cracker cabinet and crumbled them over the cheese to give it a little buttery goodness. Those short sleeves are nice when you don't want a lot of round crackers.

The cheezie chicken was just so, so. All is not lost though. I found the remnants of a tub of pineapple sherbet and am working me way through that frozen wonderfulness.

Seems I started with a water-glass of Ancient Age, but that may not be correct, so forget I said that.
