Whoa... Really?

I'm not the biggest Domilise's fan, but I wouldn't serve Tracey's to my enemies, never heard a single person enjoy Mag St., and Mahoney's is being discussed in other thread.

The problem with Mahoneys is price not food. Tracy's RB is far superior to Dom's.

bullshite.

Dom's shrimp is on par with Danny and Clyde's IMO.

And I probably eat Dom's more than most people in this thread.

Cane's sauce is better, though

Old Tyme is the only place in Lafayette that makes a good po boy, and while it is as good as any all the rest in Lafayette suck balls including that Chris place which is just horrible

not sure about the others but, chris' roast beef poboy is waaaay better than old tyme. its not even close. old tymes roast beef is like something you would find at a shop rite.

I've never been to domilise's, but there is no way precooked deli roast beef with canned gravy could possibly be in the top-10 poboys in New Orleans.

I'm sure the fried shimp is fine.

Three things I don't put in my mouth, Chewing Tobacco, Chicken shite and any kind of Po-boy from Domilise's.

Old tyme grocery shrimp poboy is better than domilises, guys, parkway, Mahonys, Tracey's, crabby jacks and all other Nola shrimp poboys i have.
No question New Orleans is poboy capital and by far the best around for total number of great poboys, but I one on one old tyme grocery shrimp is best I've had.
Having said that. Once again Nola is pound for pound po boy capital and have lots of great places for the RB poboys. But once again the best I've had is outside of Nola. At that would be at Bears in Covington

I'm tempted to drive to Lafayette to see if this is bullshite or what.

What type of bread does Olde Tymeless Grocery serve?

homemade french. And you really have to put an asterisk when saying olde thyme is excellent because it mostly only pertains to seafood - for quality RB poboys you still have to go to nola

It's not bullshite, I spent years in nola and like that guy said its pound for pound the best. I won't say old time is better than any but its as good as any on nola break included. All the rest in Lafayette suck worse than the worst place in btr including Chris roast beef, might as well be sucking a dick eating that crap

Overpriced but, shite, it's far better than Domilise's.

I've only eaten there a couple of times and it was fine.

I really have a soft spot for Domilise's, but it's not that great. Not inedible or anything, but not in the conversation for "best".
