Izzo's is average, at best.

You definitely overpay for what you get. You can get a bigger and better burrito for less money at any taqueria in town.

The only reason I ever go to Izzo's is if I'm literally driving past one while starving to death, and don't feel like driving to a taqueria. I stopped at one yesterday, an illegal burrito and large drink set me back $18 with tax.

So you know you dislike the place, you feel it's overpriced before even entering, you can see the prices clearly listed when you walk in, adding a large drink is an elementary practice regarding price, and still make an order and complain about it? There's someone else other than the restaurant that you should scold, it's yourself.

I go with the taco's, add guac or just get the guac deal, and it comes with a drink. It's generally like $10.01.

Wow, Thanks for all the good responses, I'm a chef here at The Summit and I'm gonna be frequenting them when they open the doors. Chuy's just doesn't cut it.

Come to my Restaurant, FLIP

I'll give you the best bacon and cheeser and fries you've ever had for about 12 bucks!

Why do you close your milkshake machine 45 minutes prior to closing?

The steak tartare burger was spectacular though.

I've never had the illegal burrito but my meals usually cost $12. It's pretty much the reason I never go there anymore. It's decent but not worth the money.

For any normal person that is 2 meals so looking at the glass half full you have 2 $9 meals.

Where do you think you'll find a quality meal for under $10-12? They hardly exist anymore.

I like Chipotle better. Izzo's isn't bad for a quick bite though. Only reason I went about once a week is because the co-worker loved it.

Where is it that you eat at and get that much food for under $10? For what i get, izzo's is way cheaper than Chipotle and others. I love Izzo's and think it is way better than moe's and qdoba.

I know a lot of local non chain places that I can eat for less than that. It's still fast food and I don't consider it that high of "quality". I'm not really knocking it because when I first tried it I thought it was great but after a while it just seems average for the price.

Mr. Sam's, Sammy's, Smilie's, Cafe Navarre, Taquira Guerrero, La Divina, Good Eats, Sunrise Grill, Gelato Pazzo, Jazmine Cafe, Gene's, Brown Derby, Cafe Reconcile, Mona's, Tacos San Miguel, Two Sisters, Bennachin, Lil Dizzy's.

I can get out of all of these places for under $10 at lunch, and I caoul make this list a lot longer if I had the time.
