Have any of these places shut down since this thread?

The thread bumper must be the Bullfish Owner/Manager using the search function.

In that same area, it's a shame that Canefield Tavern seems to be struggling. Sucks, because I actually like the place. Last time I was in there they said they were going to have $2 beer and $5 burgers everyday during Summer to try and drum up some customers. I like it but it sounds a little desperate.

Tavern. That word is the problem.
After glancing at the menu, they are more of a restaurant than a bar. Yet the name suggest they are primarily a bar. They'd be better off calling themselves Canefield Grill.

Other ones that are on the ropes will probably be in do or die mode starting in June (summer)

It could be the best at that style in town, but I think people are just done with the same stuff.
