Sherwood/Coursey Corridor:
Lee's is definitely going to shut down - place isn't that good and location is terrible
Boil and Roux - terrible, don't see how they are open now
Riverside Patty isnt going anywhere. I frequent this place and they are quite busy during lunch time.
The Cove (by Izzos) good food, but rarely busy when I go in.
Curry and Kebab - yea this place is done
Fernandos on Coursey already shut down - I don't think the new Mexican place on Coursey where Las Palmas was will do much better.
Burgersmith on Seigan - Service is poor and the couple times I've been there, it's been pretty quiet. Meanwhile Mooyah's is terrible and they are just rolling in that shopping center.

Whatever opens up in the space where Lasseigne's American Grill/Frankie Marcello's/Calendar's was.

Have you been to 9 Dragon Noodle House? I actually prefer their authentic dishes over Omi. The spicy dry fried beef with garlic and chiles, pork liver, and several other dishes are really top-notch.

Galatoire's (there's never anyone there)

Heard this from a very good source over the holidays.
Did you hear 1) there's never anyone there or 2) You heard that they will be closing?
Because if 2, then I might start a thread where we suggest or guess what restaurant should replace it.
PS I'm no fan of Galatwats. I'm not a fan of famous, historic N.O. restaurants locating Baton Rouge.

Definitely 2.
Neighbor sold his business to one of the owners, eats there quite often and is in position to know.
Sadly, I will hate to see it go away. I admit, I don't eat there very often, but I really like it once in a while for a late Friday lunch.
Do they own the building?

Hopefully, the building stays a dining establishment. Sadly, I've never experienced the new location. My only two trips were to their original BR location near I-10/Pecue.
Actually went to Pei Wei a bunch on Trader Joe runs before it closed..miss a few items they had that PF Chang's doesn't do.

I would expect Sliders in Prairieville to close once Walk-On's is built

Kalurah Street Grill just opened yesterday. Doubt it will be closing in 2017.
Superior Grill and Capital City Grill always crowded. Do businesses close when they are making lots of money??

How about the restaurants next to the Mall of LA annex? I passed by Grimaldi's the other day at 12:30pm and there were 2 customers inside. Never even know that place existed.
Aside from pre-movie traffic does anyone go to BJ's or the Bar Louie thing?

Only time I go to those places is before a movie. But they get decent crowds.
Richard Condon used to do his shitty radio show at Bar Louie. I told a manager that was the sort of garbage that would keep people away from the restaurant.

BJ's has good food. The Mrs. and I did a date night there not long ago, was solid, despite the place being almost packed. We will be back.

Doesn't Sandy and Sau Yeung own China Bear? They owned Hong Kong at Millerville Crossing, and like every other tenant in there, were flooded out. Great folks.
Sau makes great smoked duck egg rolls..hopefully they are on the China Bear menu too?

Seriously!? It's super easy parking and the food and service are great. These guys need more support.
