I used the Instant Pot last Monday for my beans. Turned out good. Pics in link.

I prefer jasmine rice.

Beans were done a few hours ago but I had to do some errands.

Rich, creamy but still some unbroken beans. Perfectly seasoned and waiting for dinner. Going to grill some venison and hot sausages to go along with.

Pearls, I saw your post and sort of followed it yesterday. I soaked the beans for a few hours. Sauteed the onion and bell pepper in the Instant Pot, added beans, water, seasoning, and a few pieces of sausage.

Cooked under pressure for 45 minutes. Let it sit on stay warm for another 10 or so. Opened it up and let it thicken up and cream the beans a bit.

Grilled the rest of the sausage, sliced, and added to the pot. Turned out great.

my beans came out nice. Didn't get pics. I put a lot of salted pork in it. I didn't do cream style. The beans were so tender and soft without being mushy. Best consistency I have ever had with beans. I'm really liking this pot. Very glad this board swayed me to getting it.
