re: Best public golf courses in New Orleans? - Sofa King Crimson
Audubon park
yeah in reality that is probably the best option. TPC would basically require a full day. Yall could play Audubon one morning and still have the entire afternoon/evening to bang hookers and do blow....

re: Surf fishing rig and bait recommendations. - Sofa King Crimson
I'll be surf fishing on the east coast of FL this weekend...can't wait. Just find a bait shop and get a pvc rod holder and some ladyfish or mullet and a couple of those spiderweights. Walk out as far as you're comfortable, chunk it, return to seat, consume beer, wait....

re: Have any friends that decided to "home school" their kids? - Sofa King Crimson
the homeschooled kids who end up being the freak anti-social types are the ones who are not encouraged to seek out social settings since they don't get those in school. If homeschooling, the kids need to play sports or do additional activites so that they can interact with other kids. I think a lo...

re: Any Slidell eateries or drinkeries worth checking out? - Sofa King Crimson
ha, not many good bars to speak of. Pretty much the only one I frequent is a new bar in old town called the maple room. Good beer selection and not a typical slidell crowd. It's connected to a really good restaurant called Cote as well. They've also got great bar food....

re: Any Slidell eateries or drinkeries worth checking out? - Sofa King Crimson
Phil's is solid. The shrimp special is great and believe it or not they have a really good burger. I also really like southside cafe. Really casual and a great menu with all sorts of stuff. Both of those are casual spots. Are you looking for anything nicer?...

re: Is Ruth's Chris/Laffy still any good or did I hit a bad night? - Sofa King Crimson
haven't eaten at that one but have been to a couple different locations. The food is always good but it costs at least twice as much as it is worth, IMO. There are so many good restaurants within 30 miles of here that I just see no reason to spend that sorta money there. ETA: Ate at Mazen's gr...

Any of you guys listen to The Joe Rogan Experience Podcast? - Sofa King Crimson
Just started listening a couple months ago. Never really knew much about Rogan other than he was the Fear Factor host and he's an MMA commentator but his podcast is pretty good. Typically has really good guests ranging from comedians to doctors and scientists. Rogan can be a little douchey at tim...

Apologetic Georgia principal blames ‘the devil’ for racial remark - Sofa King Crimson
:rotflmao:
In a fleeting moment of frustration, “the devil” — and not deep-seated racial prejudice — prompted a Georgia high school principal to make racial remarks at a graduation ceremony on Friday. That’s according to TNT Academy Principal Nancy Gordeuk, who has stepped forward to apo...
