Recs for South Lake Tahoe

Going to be there next week to do some skiing (Heavenly). Any recommendations on best places to eat (pizza, burgers, tacos, etc) and drink (breweries)? Doesnt have to be anything fancy or expensive.

Base Camp Pizza - bueno.
MacDuff's Pub - muy bueno.

You should hike up in the back of Emerald Bay, up toward Eagle Lake, one day. The trail is mostly flat with stairs and it's so unbelievably beautiful I can't even explain it. Research it. Do it.

one of my buddies has a house in tahoe so i asked him.
he said vinny's or base camp for pizza.
he said the best breweries are on the north side but can find them on tap on the south side. he mentioned 50-50 specifically

Heavenly Valley is amazing. Some of the most amazing views you can imagine at the top of that mountain. Milky Way Bowl!!! Sorry but no recs on food, but the skiing tho!
