I scramble 2 eggs with added egg whites, then have two pieces of whole wheat toast, and a protein shake every morning. Wake up at 5:45, cooking at 5:55/6:00, out the door at 6:40 and at work for 7:00. It's really not that bad.

I do one of these...

Protein shake
Egg beaters with veggies
Hard boiled egg
Jimmy Dean Delight breakfast sandwich (good stats)
Oatmeal with a teaspoon of honey or natural peanut butter
Whole wheat toast with almond butter and cinnamon
Grape nuts or Total with skim milk

I love the new Dannon Lite and Fit Greek Blends yogurts.

If I'm on the go, I'll get a Mickey D's Egg White Delight sandwich.

The only time I have a protien shake is if I cannot eat regular foods or immediately after an intense workout

Sometimes if I run before swim on Tues & Fri I'll have one to hold me over until I eat my breakfast, but breakfast is wheat toast and peanut butter. Those days are like 3:45 or 4 am wakeups, 5-6 mile run, then an hour of swimming so I'm starving when I get out of the water

I thought you were into fitness and such. But if you don't drink protein shakes everyday I guess I was wrong.

Alexander's Market sells Coco Lite multigrain pop cakes LINK / in BR, not sure where they are made and sold in NOLA. Think of a rice cake but flatter and thinner. It's a great low calorie base for something like a nut butter and fruit.

Season and brown some ground turkey with diced bell peppers and eggs. Put on a wheat wrap and top it with some spicy salsa. Quick and delicious.

Green smoothie for me. Every day. Can't remember the last time I didn't have it.

Mine consists of
3-5 bananas
1-2 cups spinach (any green)
1 cup water

You can also add:
Any berries (blueberries are great with my usual recipe), pineapple, ginger, beet, carrots, avocado, any nut butter (PB2, personally), cashews, almonds, pecans, flax seeds, chia seeds, hemp hearts, or apple cider vinegar (this is for health benefits only... don't add much. I shoot mine straight, don't want it ruining my smoothie).

I sometimes add soy/almond milk instead of water.
Spinach, blueberry, nut milk, almond butter and bananas may be my favorite.

The possibilities are endless, but if you're like me, you'll stick to one recipe and occasionally add other stuff depending on what I have around.

It never gets old and it works better than coffee as far as waking me up and getting me moving. Takes 5 minutes to make, if that.

Greek yogurt or
Oatmeal in microwave or
Special K bar or
frosted mini-wheat or
Multigrain cheerios or
wife's granola or
raisin bran

One of the above plus a piece of fruit or a bowl of melon if I can find any in the fridge

Plus as many cups of coffee as I can drink before
leaving for work.

on weekend one of the above or maybe an omelet with the wife plus wheat toast, plus fruit, plus coffee
