Don't think there should be a debate, fruits are very much so a simple carb. But the nutrients and fiber you get make them worth eating.
yeah, dietary fiber is a type of complex carbohydrate.
either way you're right, the natural sugar in fruits (especially the lower sugar fruits) make them healthy to eat. especially compared to all the bull shite flavored juices and other sweetened drinks and foods.
