Okay yesterday somewhat fell off the wagon a little

Breakfast: 1 Nutri Grain Bar 1 Banana
Lunch: 2 Cuties
Snack 2 Cuties 1 Banana
Dinner: Garden Salad extra ranch, handful of bacon bits, Croutons, diced ham, cheese.
Snack: Nutri Grain Bar

Didn't get a chance to walk the dog

Can someone help me on a smoothie recipe.

I was thinking some strawberries, dropper of vanilla, 1/4 banana, 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk, and ice.

I just have a single serving size blender/mixer.

I need to weigh myself also I suppose. Ifeel better but can not tell if this new regiment is working.

I am going to give myself a Faturday this weekend though.

Haven't really checked in a while.

I'm off the keto paintrain, back to counting macros. Took about a week for me to get back to where I was so I didn't post much.

Had a good weekend. Navigated a birthday party and a beef cook-off and only had 1 beer all weekend. Striving to have no drinks until a friend's wedding at the end of the month.

Primed for some loss this week.

It sounds frightening, but it can't be any worse than this Whole 30 shite my wife got me into. I just want a piece of bread!

It's really pretty damn easy, outside of the cravings for breads and sweets. The war is the mindset of refusing to cheat for (insert random stupid reason here).

My diet basically consists of bacon, eggs, cheese, burgers (86 the bun), brats, steaks, fish, asparagus or green beans, spinach, cream cheese, etc... heavy whipping cream in my coffee. Full calorie and fat Ranch dressing on any salad I eat. And I eat until I'm full every time and drink light beer whenever I want as long as I stay under my carb limit.

Here are what my numbers look like on MyFitnessPal. I had lost about 10lbs before I downloaded the app. Been going pretty consistent I reckon.

And here are what my normal daily macro stuff looks like. I guess that's what you call it. I just try to make that pie chart look like a Pacman.

I need to get back on track. Bring on the pain. No clue how I'm still maintaining. I lost 2 more lbs, even. They don't feel like they count when I'm not acting right.

Think of how easy it would be to IF for 40 days and nights in the dessert if all you had was whiskey, cocaine, camels, and shark meat waiting for you on Easter.

So your carb intake per day is what? Also, are you counting calories at all or just carbs?

Generally speaking, anything under 20 grams of carbs has worked for me. I aim for my caloric intake to be less than 1500, but don't beat myself up over anything up to 2000. The second most important thing besides severely limiting carbs, from my experience and what I've read about Keto, is eating enough fat & drinking a shite ton of water. I try to drink 96oz a day of water - using crystal light flavor packets if I have to. I also don't limit my diet/zero soda intake. If I want a soda, I drink a damn soda, as long as it has no carbs & I'm getting my water for the day as well. No need in making this tougher than it has to be to be, IMO.

I have one Coke Zero today.

I was off the rails with those. I packed a few on slamming those things.

I'm gonna cut them out completely this week.

Intake shmintake! This about eviscerating the demons of undisciplined gluttony and unchecked letheragy. This shite is real. It's bigger than any cute little metrics.

I need to cut Diet Cokes. I tend to drink that instead of water at work. I like water; I just suck at drinking it. That'll be my goal tomorrow.

Sort of related, but the weirdest side effect of weight loss has been messed up hearing. Since last summer, I've had this feeling like my ear was plugged/muffled if I was doing anything physical outside for an extended amount of time. Kinda like that feeling when cabin pressure changes on a plane & your ear needs to pop. I got it checked out, and it looks like I have something called patulous eustachian tube. And one of the causes is weight loss. Sigh. ANYWAY, it's related because mine seems to be triggered by dehydration. So I really, really need to be better about drinking water. Playing tennis with one ear all muffled is so disorienting.

Sup guys. Usually dont post here, though i view it sometimes.
34 yr old male
5'6" (short i know)
157lbs

ive been hitting the weights 4-5 days a week for the past few years. Last summer amped up my cardio and diet and was in the best shape of my life. Actually had abs instead of a belly. Well holidays and hunting season got my belly back so i have started back the lean/clean eating. Hanging in around 1500-1600cals a day. And For the first time started IF, feeding from 1pm-9pm (although im normally done by 7:30-8pm)

And suggestions for the IF?
