We ride in the Lake Charles Parades, big one is tomorrow, its similar in style to the new orleans parades and I believe is the biggest one outside of new orleans in the usa but not sure on that anymore.

yea wasnt sure if laffy had passed it or not. doesn't surprise me as the LC parade really hasn't grown much since the early 90s as LC hasn't really grown population wise until lately where as Laffy has blown up.
This yea kind of sucks for our Krewe. We have 30 something couples in the crew and 25 of the couples are snow skiing this year and a few more wont be able to ride. So we are down to 5 couples on this huge arse float so we all invited friends to ride. Gonna be different this year for sure.

Step off George. I'm back. Starting out at a plump 194 today. My low last spring was 182 at the end of Lent with strict keto and 3-4 days of weight lifting. Started at 202 last year at this time and got down to 182 in 6 weeks.goal is sub 180 this time. Today was day 1.

Well now my keto train signal is reaching satellite radio Paul. You can hear it in the car.
Day 2 of keto rolling on. 2 good workouts and great eating. Had 4 eggs and 4 bacon for breakfast. Burger patty with melted cheddar on top and cucumber salad for lunch.

Well lent fricks up keto 2 days this week. Baked potato, broccoli and cheese for supper. Still no bread, pasta or rice.....

Got a doctors appointment in the AM for a physical and blood work. Been on Keto since September. Will report back when I get my blood work numbers back. I'm down 65 lbs from when I started Keto, and down 100 lbs from my heaviest back in 2011.

1st time in this thread but here is my goal
I was told by a fellow teacher at school I could not do a 10 day salad challenge. I accepted, I am going to top that and go 31 days (all month). The amount of weight loss will be a dollar per pound by our Teachers Association to the local food pantry. I am also using this as my Lenten Sacrifice as no red meats, fast food, sugars, etc...Just salad fruits. I will need help on protein part as I am not sure the boiled eggs will help or if I should use Tuna packed etc.
Rules are only Salads for meals, snack on fruits, and no cokes/dr peppers etc.
Yesterday
Garden Salad Pinch of Cheese Pinch of Bacon Bits and 3 tablespoons of Kraft Zesty Italian.
Banana
120 oz water
Walked Dog for .61 miles
Today
Banana lunch
2 Cutie Oranges Lunch
Salad 1 hard boiled egg 4 croutons pinch ham bacon bits Catalina dressing
Banana
32 oz water
Walked Dog .58 miles
I will try to update progress daily. If it gets too much and you guys think I am spamming let me know and I will not update daily.
