Will be in NOLA on thursday and need a place to eat lunch. Will be with friends and family. Looking for something nice, but nothing too extravagant/expensive.

That's really not enough info to give a good suggestion.

I hardly ever see this place suggested but one of my favorite lunch spots in the city is St. James Cheese Company.

Glass gave a great list. Borgne is fine if you're closer to the Dome. Luke is an option.

The Windsor Court has a great $20 buck lunch deal going right now. The restaurant is a lovely place for lunch. There are other items on the menu, as well.
