Well they sold over 1000 so some people appreciate the food and offer. Dinner for 4 for $105 helps us old folks with bad taste stretch our soc sec check :) They also offer a generous pour from the bar BTW....

Houseboat on Ouchita is simply a great vacation. Pull the bow up on an island, lay the gangplank,explore and start the grill while swimming and fishing. Even the diving at the damn is not too bad for freshwater and the flooded town is coll when the water is right....

Had some this evening I bought at Desportes and Sons seafood mkt in Biloxi but there probably is a place closer to Slidel on the coast. They had head on and headless. I use the heads and shells after for seafood stock too...

He probably decided to focus on his new place on Grand Isle, Hurricane Hole. When they made the change in menu and did away with oysters and some pretty good dishes it had to kill them quickly.
