A wheat wrap/tortilla and a wheat 6" bun both have less than 200 calories.
I suppose we have different ideas of what healthy means.

Your eating the most processed food in the world.
It's probably one of the best fast food options but I would still put it on par with fast food.

Let me change healthy to lesser amount of calories.
Less calories = more healthy.
No?

Meh. Being healthy goes well beyond calories.
And that processed shite you get at subway is low in calories but certainly not "healthy" for you.

I'll participate in the beer tasting experiment if someone is buying. I can fake my way into the second twelve pack.
The above okra, tomato gumbo comment I agree.
I put file in my gumbo thirty minutes before I serve and stir in for thickening and flavor and if you tell me it's bitter I'll call you a liar.
I clean my cast iron with soap and water on occasion and I don't have to reseason, cry or throw them away.

tuna, spinach, tomato, bell pepper, bread, mustard, salt and pepper.
That's as healthy as you are going to find in most restaurants of any kind.
OK-here's one. That a good restaurant is healthy. It may or may not be.

At a chain? Most likely. Doesn't mean it's healthy. Like I said it's the best option for fast food. Still not good for you.

How is the sandwich I posted not good for you?
What restaurant dish is good for you? That you would actually pay money for I mean.

I'm pretty sure that whole 2oz of processed ham they slap on that sammich isn't as bad as you're making it out to be.
I'm not talking about opening a pack of Bryan ham and devouring it in one sitting.
When I eat subway mine is more vegetables than a thing else.
That's pretty much as healthy a meal as you'll find outside of making your own.

I once got into a pissing contest with a fellow poster about eating rare hamburger. My stance is that if you grind the meat (chuck roast)yourself and ate it within a reasonable amount of time that it was perfectly safe. He worked as a meat salesman (which made him an expert) and said that this was unsafe.
He is wrong.

Your body doesn't know how to process the food.
The purpose of veggies is the nutrients you get from them. You don't get near as much from subway. It tastes like shite for a reason.
Go to a real grocery store, buy some real food, and you'll make a sammich 10x healthier and 10x better tasting
I used to eat subway 2-3x a week as little as 6 months ago when I was working local but on the road all day. I agree it's a good option when given shite. Now that I'm working from home half the time I can eat much healthier buying my own sandwich stuff.

That a spam and onion sammich on toast with mustard is not the bestest thing on earth.

I hear what you are saying, and I agree about making the sandwich at home.
But what about Tuna salad, spinach, bell peppers, tomatoes and bread? Nothing wrong with that.
I also agree you can make healthier anything at home, but I don't think unhealthy is limited to fast food. You aren't eating healthy at the upscale NOLA restaurants either.
And I like Taco Bell dammit!
