Great reviews!
Glad ya'll enjoyed your weekend.

Toups is a fickle one, I've had good and mediocre experiences there. The meatery board is the constant, excellent order.

Too bad to hear about the cheek dish at Sylvain, it's their sig dish. I'm not sure their buffalo sweetbread dish is my favorite style.

Good choices for a great NOLA weekend.

Sounds like a great weekend! Nice write up.

Atchafalaya called me an hour or so before our reservation time to confirm. I wonder why they did not call you.

Tim and Marija?

I was supposed to go to that reception. (of course they do more than one so may not be the same one) Croats get down.

Dirty is a good word.

My guilty pleasure is douchebag bars so obvs I adored republic.

Plus my boss used to own it. I thought it was such a fun time!

I enjoyed our Sunday too though. Their bulldog is kinda poo, but rendezvous was fun.
That was my 2nd time at Molly's, supposedly. I don't remember the first..it was NYE last year.

I took my folks to R'evolution for brunch. It was good, albeit not $460 (for 4) good.

Small world, I was at Sylvaine for lunch on Saturday and I went to the 3pm wedding at the cathedral. Our reception was at the Sonesta though.

I had the chicken liver crostini, which was fantastic and I did something kind of strange and had a burger. It was pretty fantastic, very simple with delicious house made pickles. That and a Moscow mule set me right.

Also did you happen to notice that one of the guys from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy was there?
