I had my first MM a few weeks ago and loved it. So I went and bought some copper mugs to make my own. The mug from the restaurant stayed ice cold for over 45 min. Mine did not, not even close.

Are there better copper mugs? Where can I find them

TIA

I guess make sure it is solid copper and not just plated

Did you stick them in the freezer first?

If you thought a Moscow Mule was good, try a Dark & Stormy. Gosling's rum and ginger beer instead of vodka. With a lime, of course. My favorite spring/summer drink by far.

I bought these.... Sertodo copper

They are hand hammered and 100% copper, no linings or anything. Which is great except you have to keep up with them to keep them looking nice and shiny. Basically after using them rinse it and dry it. They get so cold the ice sticks to the sides of the mug.

It's $70 for a set of 2 or $120 for a set of 4. Still super high priced for a cup though.
