Made mules a month ago with George Dickel instead of vodka. Fantastic. Used copper mugs I bought off the internet. Stayed very cold but they wouldn't have gotten hit in a paper cup.

2 oz dickel (to taste).

Juice from half a small lime.

Over pellet ice if you have it.

Fill with light ginger beer (I used Good Juju but may try Buffalo Rider from Good People next time).

Garnish with lime twist if desired.

I call is a Buhl Mule.

What do you do different for a regular Moscow Mule? I tried it for the first time at Doris Metropolitan and loved it. I've looked online and saw several variations. So was looking for a recommendation. Thanks in advance.

Use regular table salt and white vinegar to keep the patina from them.

I'm using Tennessee whiskey instead of vodka and maybe going a little heavy on the line. Makers would be fine as well. Though I offered vodka if anyone wanted the traditional one (no one did). I had Tito's on hand.

W/ Makers or any Bourbon, it's called a Kentucky Mule.

I assume you could call a Jack one a Tennessee Mule

I want to try the Kentucky mule or the dark and stormy

Bulldog has a pretty legit MM, they use a grapefruit vodka...revoke my man card if you wish but it was damn good
