Yes. Your jambalaya will taste metallic and poor

Dude you took a wide shot of your whole stove just to show a fricking Dutch oven.

I like the oven. That's no 30 year old Maytag, lol

The Kitchen Bouquet is a joke. It expired in '09.

Probably the biggest difference is the thickness and durability of the coating. The Sam's one will need to be taken extra care of when handling (cooking & washing), and the Le Crusete will be a lot more durable.
If you scratch that Sam's one just slightly, it's done. I wouldn't be surprised if the coating starts flaking at the scratch.

My other cast iron is 75+ years old.. Just needed a Dutch oven

Creuset is done in France... The other is done in China. I'm not eating out of anything coated and made in China. You are probably already taking in pieces of ceramic. Also, like the previous post said... It will scratch in a heart beat. I've had the cheap ones and I know have creusets... Not the same.

My Sams Dutch Oven didn't last two months.
The coating wore off during a long braise with wine (coq au vin).
I bought a Lodge enamel-coated cast iron Dutch Oven that I love.
Way cheaper than Le Creuset.

Exactly...and those bright colors from China may or may not contain lead. Le creuset has a lifetime warranty....
