Don't know why this is breaking news but it might be in their best interest to get rid of this guy and his "the customer is always wrong" attitude

Jeff Kleinpeter has stepped down from his position as president of Kleinpeter Farms and Dairy to take what family members describe as “temporary medical leave.”

The complaints have gone from up to 70 a week last year to one about every two to three weeks. In each of those cases, we find it’s a refrigerator issue somewhere.

Don't know about the quality of their milk lately, but they are advertising lower prices on the radio. Hardly ever hear of anyone lowering prices on anything these days.

They probably have to do something to get customers back.
I was in the grocery a few weeks ago and noticed almost all the Kleinpeter milk on the shelf was expired.
Guess they are having trouble moving it nowdays.

some guy on my FB wrote that one of the milk companys bought out another...he deleted the post since then, since i just went to try and look. It was Borden, Brown's, or Kleinpeter

For the past month I have been drinking Promised Land chocolate milk. Very chocolaty. I like it. Available at Walmart.

I haven't gone back.

I haven't bought it again since the last several times I did and it was bad long before the expiration date. Probably won't.

mastitis.
The ones who are well cared for don't "often" suffer from mastitis. The ones who are allowed to wallow in mud and filth and stand in chest high water do.
Any dairy farmer who actually cares about what he is doing will be constantly monitoring for mastitis and refrain from mixing an infected cows milk in with the rest of the heards.

hate to break it to you but any mass produced milk is transported this way.

It's completely natural for it to be in milk, but all of that is filtered out before processing and pasteurization.

What brand are local public schools giving the kids?
It was always Kleinpeter when I grew up in the 80's and 90's.

Has anyone else noticed Kleinpeter milk tasting different lately? (not in a good way) Did they change something? I've been a kleinpeter milk fan for years but the last two gallons I've bought taste different than the usual.
gave up on them a while back. Switched to Feliciana's Best and haven't looked back. Much better product.
