I don't think they are discounting the customers expectation, they are full well aware of it and take pride in it and want to keep it. I've been through the farm and the dairy quite a few times and know a lot of them including Jeff personally and they have been working on this since well before this popped up on here. They are concerned and working towards fixing the problems and let's face it these kind of things can happen to any company of their type. It is how they correct the problem and how they react to their customers is what will ultimately make the difference.

Watching the news now with a huge ground beef scare and recall coming soon, peanut butter salmonella, tampered Tylenol, bad chickens, bean sprouts, spinach etc... shite happens. When they fix them I go back. It has been a great product all my life so I'm assuming they can get through this, fix it and regain confidence of the customer.

Martini, it has been happening for at least 6 months.

I agree that shite happens, but heads should have rolled long ago. They have lost customers because of this and apparently have no clue what is happening.

So now, they are knowingly putting out a bad product.

And they have known about it for however long and have been working through the problems. Heads have rolled, equipment has been replaced and people have been brought in to correct it. As he said they aren't finished and are still working through problems but they didn't wake up this morning and say fricking uh oh.

Is this their first public comment on it?

Don't know, could be. I know they have discussed it on their social media. But that doesn't mean they just started acknowledging the problem.

When you eat a bad chicken how long does it take for Sanderson Farms to find out and try to fix the problem?

Jeff blames everybody but himself. As long as he's president of the company this will never be fixed. This problem has been ongoing for almost 2 years and all he's worried about is that fricked up ice cream. Wish some of the old Kleinpeter boys could step in and get the dairy straight but that will never happen. Ben needs to step in, close the ice cream facility and get the milk straight.

I so wanted to like the ice cream, but I have tried just about every flavor and not found one that I would buy again

That ice cream is horrible. I can't believe that crap is still on the shelves. Who is buying that garbage?

Is the problem because they get their milk from those cardboard cows on Airline?

Dunno, just passing on info. I haven't bought Kleinpeter in years. They think their milk comes from golden udders

It took them this long to find soapy water? If so, it has to be proof that they weren't looking for shite until 20 minutes ago.

Also how does QC not catch this, would imagine they are running samples.

Quite the coincidence that they find the source one day after the story exploded in the news.

You think?

Like Martini, I know and like Jeff too...Jeff doesn't come across very well in the BR Biz Report article. He'd probably like a mulligan on that. And it seemed that he put off too long in responding to the issue.

Losing that school biz was a big hit for Kleinpeter, but anyone in bizness takes hits sometimes. Just gotta move forward and not cry & whine about it.

I wrote them an email about milk that soured twice way before the expiration date. They sent a lady out to my house with replacement milk, etc. She then tells me that my fridge temp is too low causing the milk to sour, even though its a brand new fridge and it is set on the number 7 cold temp.

I couldn't help but smile when i told her that all other milk brands and food last just fine in my fridge. Even though they were nice enough to come and replace the milk, they shouldn't try to bullshite me and tell me that my fridge is the problem. They lost me as a customer
