I know there's a few threads discussing the events leading up to this but thought this deserved its own thread. What a f'n fiasco.

Celebrity chef John Besh is stepping down "from all aspects of operations" of his restaurant group, The New Orleans Advocate reports today.

The news comes after Harrah's New Orleans Casino cut ties with John Besh following sexual harassment allegations in the Besh Restaurant Group.

Great person that liked to bang the help and commit adultery while talking about cooking for his boys and wife and family. Pretty hypocritical if you ask me. The golden boy is taking a hit.

Is it unusual for a company of 1,000 plus employees to not have a proper human resources department?

The entire time I have been reading this rapidly imploding problem over the past few days all I have been able to think has been, "Wow, what a nice guy/family man he seems to be on Create TV."

I guess one never knows. Tragic to see all of his chef and restaurant success come crashing down. A few minutes ago, I commented to my wife, "He had a thousand employee company with no HR manager." We both agreed that was insane for any ethical company to not have an outlet serving as a voice for the employees.

Maybe he will survive, but at best likely only as a shell of what once was.

Sad, when someone can't separate work from their crotch. The two really need to be kept separate. Always a problem that eventually leads to disaster.

I don't think that's a big problem.
Rich guys are bound to frick around.

But what he did ignored consent.
And there was a culture of... Uh, not so good stuff.

Shame, too.
I always enjoyed his create show.

There are a hundred wise sayings about this:

"Don't get your meat and bread from the same store."

"Thou shalt not commit adultery."

"Keep your pecker in your pocket."

and the latest (Circa 2017)

"Being rich and powerful does not give you the right to sexually harass others, unless you want to see the destruction of all you have accomplished."

Oh and

"Karma's a bitch."

I did too which is where he always talked about his wife and his 4 joys and cooking and eating together.

When men start writing checks with their cock it never ends up good for them and John Besh is going down faster than a one egg pudding. I mean he's like a turd in a punch bowl.
