Eddie has no culinary POV, which in the past Suzie and Bob (who is gay) have acted like was a critical element. If they pick him, they should never be allowed to criticize again for lack of POV.

Correct. He's all over the place. He started out with healthy food....then to cheat day....then to Caribbean....

You are correct. This time the whole show has been much less focused on that than in the past.
I'm wondering if they realize that while it has it's place in the contestants developing some sort of plan, the winner isn't necessarily going to have the show they want anyway?

I wish Jay could have pulled something a little better out for the after school snack. Maybe some grilled fruit with cream cheese and a dipping sauce or something. But given the stupid theme and short amount of time, he did what he could.
Eddie has no POV and Jay has a brand already.. But Eddie is very good. I think it's Jay's to lose but it wouldn't take much for Eddie to win.

Everyone says it's down to Jay or Eddie, but I've got a weird feeling about Dom. You would think he would have been eliminated before he was. He apparently is hilarious off camera, and seems to have the best food. I think Bobby and Giada wanted badly for him to get comfortable enough to show his personality while the lights are on. Sending him to Salvation gives him more opportunities to practice overcoming his phobia. If he gets it, he could challenge.
I write this assuming that Dom is still alive on the Salavation side.

I think Salvation is between Dom and Rue. If Dom makes it back, Bobby and Giada will be pulling for him. They really like his food. Food network execs like Jay and Eddie.

Well, I looked for the posts from BRgetthenet and they're gone. So are my posts asking how he knew that, so maybe Jay told someone to take them off or maybe BR did. I have no idea what happened. I'm going to assume BR didn't know what he was talking about and they were rumors rather than fact, which is what I thought in the first place. So, never mind!

He might have been talking about that online poll that he was pushing instead of the actual show. As far as I know, the online poll means nothing.
