These things look pretty functional in keeping foods from running together. The picture didn't say what they're called, but my nice white oval plates look much better. However, I could keep these in my purse for emergencies!!!

With all the devastation going on, I thought I'd post this so folks could laugh at my expense.

They mixed corn and peas for a product meant to keep foods separate? If rather mix the corn with the potatoes, throw that white meat to the dog, then eat my peas, salad, and corn and potatoes without the food damns.

Yeah, that would never be on my plate.

Nada.

The whole meal looks like a school cafeteria meal and not very good, but at least the dressing from the salad isn't in the potatoes and the gravy from the potatoes isn't in the salad.

Those pieces of plastic could be a choking hazard if the diner was inebriated. Would not buy.

I've never mixed can corn with mashed potatoes, but damn that sounds better than with giant canned peas. I'm a strict petit pois pea eater.

Salads are supposed to be on their own plate, they even named them specifically for that, and the gravy is maintained inside the mashed potatoes. You frick that up and it's your own fault.

You must get pretty inebriated to think you could get those plastic things in your mouth completely much less down your throat.

Or in it's own compartment.

Gravy always seeps down and around. That meat looks like it could use some of it.

Cool, they come in various colors. I don't like the orange.

I suppose I could use my dead Aunt Edna's dentures. They should work about the same and make my dishes truly al dente.

It is pretty funny that a commercial photograph aimed at the OCD food nomixerupper, uses a picture of a mixture.

Honestly though, I don't get how that bothers people, I'm usually quite the opposite and I like mixing bites, to each their own I guess.

I'd just eat the salad first and then mix the chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, peas, and corn into one big casserole-esque flavor party.

I always put corn on top of my mashed potatoes then pour gravy on. Been doing it since I was a kid so I could fit more food on the plate. It's a wonder I'm not 500 pounds.

I'm a "keep the foods on my plate separate" guy, but not a chance in hell I ever buy that shite.

ETA: And I have to mix peas in the mashed taters, not corn.

Maybe these will take you back to your formative days when you were just a one Gris Girl

These are not for sale but you can probably pick up your favorite color on ebay or an antique store near you.

Haven't seen those, MD, but I have an old one that was my Dad's. I think it's a Peter Rabbit theme. I'll have to look at it again.
